What is an RIC Hearing Aid?
An RIC (Receiver-in-Canal) hearing aid is a device where the receiver (speaker) is separated from the main body of the hearing aid and placed directly into the ear canal of the user. Combining the features of traditional Behind-the-Ear (BTE) and In-the-Ear (ITE) hearing aids, the RIC hearing aid not only maintains a high level of discretion but also delivers exceptional sound quality and comfort.
